The best way to connect MySQL is using ODBC Data Sources. Before creating a data source to MySQL via DBQwikEdit, you should install the latest stable MySQL ODBC driver from http://www.mysql.com. DBQwikEdit has been tested with MyODBC version 2.50.39.

In DBQwikEdit, create an ODBC data source by clicking ODBC Admin on ToolBar.
