About ADO and UDL
DBQwikEdit will need to know a name for each database that you wish to access. Because different databases use different techniques to connect to the data DBQwikEdit will want you to create an ADO UDL (think of the UDL as your own private name for a database) that it recognizes for that database. DBQwikEdit allows you to create the UDL definitions using the ADO administration tool. Once you define the UDL DBQwikEdit will use that name to connect to the database, simplifying the connection to any database to a common login screen.

All editions of DBQwikEdit use ADO UDL except for Developper
