Managing ADO UDL Connections
DBQwikEdit uses Mocrosoft's ADO engine to access a wide variety of databases. To access any database, you must "declare" the database to ADO by creating a UDL Connection String.

For your convenience DBQwikEdit interfaces to Microsoft's ADO Administration tool by clicking the ADO Amin button. . When Creating a new UDL you will be prompted for a name, make up a name that is makes send to you, like "Sales", "Catalog" or "Contacts".

You can add, update and delete UDL using DBQwikEdit. When Editing and adding, you will actutally be running Microsoft's administration program, there is a complete help system available to you once in the adminstration tool that will help you define UDL strings.
